A Clutterfree and Orderly Space Is A Sacred Home
I am an Australian living in California, an enormous ocean away from my mother’s apartment that needed a clearing after her death. It was recommended to me I should find one in Australia who had is certified by the Australian Association Professional Organisers’. I had Karen recommended to me by another AAPO member as someone who was reliable and competent. It is such a relief. I have tears in my eyes. I am so grateful.Jan Enfield
I hesitated to ask for help, however, Karen was exactly the person I needed. To finally rid myself of stress and clutter far outweighed the cost of the service.
I found Karen to be caring and non-judgmental throughout the process. I feel uplifted and my husband is impressed and so happy for me. I can’t thank Karen enough for her support, inspiration and service.Vanessa Grice
…our garage is now halfway empty.
After my grandfather passed away my family had the impossible task of cleaning out and finding a house and garage full of stuff. My family was at a standstill because a lot of the stuff had sentimental value to one or two family members. Karen was enough to get us started, our garage is now halfway empty. Before I knew it we were actually making progress. Karen made the process so much easier as well as being a great helping hand.

…what we achieved in 6 hours what I have been unable to do in years.
I would like to thank you for the work that you did with me and my children to de-clutter their bedroom. With my son going to high school next year and my daughter holding on to things that she never plays with, they had accumulated so many toys that I didn’t know where to start, to my relief, what we achieved in 6 hours what I have been unable to do in years.

Decluttering Home Case Study - Suzie a Time Poor Professional
Decluttering Home Case Study
Suzie, a time poor professional who wants to give her place a declutter – she has not had the time in 5 years
Suzie is a professional who finds that when she’s home, she’d rather relax and enjoy her time instead of working to clean her house. As a result, there is clutter everywhere. She tries to stay on top of it, but she really doesn’t have very much time, and her home is too small to keep clean easily. She has things piled up from her education, her family life, and from her professional life, and she needs to figure out a way to cut back on the clutter and make sure that things can stay organised from here on out. It is hard for her to find time to deal with the clutter, so she lets it pile up until it gets to the point where she absolutely has to declutter in order to get back to living her life.
The service will take her through a decluttering process and help her to put everything into its place. If the clutter is a result of things not having a place to go or be put away in, the service will help her by creating spots for things to go. When everything has a place, it will be harder for clutter to build up. The service will also help her create an area of her home that is meant for clutter organisation, so that when she is busy she can do a little bit of picking up and spend a little bit of time, and get rid of the clutter before it becomes a major problem. The service will also help her develop good habits about clutter and help her to not lead a cluttered lifestyle.
Declutter Case Study - George Downsizing After 50 Years
George is a senior, downsizing into a smaller home after 50 years in the family home
George has lived in his family’s home for more than 50 years, and it is time for him to downsize and move somewhere smaller. He is happy about moving to a place where it is warmer and where his grandchildren are going to be there to see each day. However, he has an entire home full of things that he won’t need in his new place. His children are excited for him to arrive in an apartment near them, but they are both busy and are unable to take time off work to come help him go through the items in the family home. George is sentimental and wants to keep everything, but needs support in order to downsize and get rid of the things that don’t matter to him in the long run.
The service will help George by providing him with the support that he needs. Getting rid of family belongings can be really hard, so the service will support him and be gentle with him as he goes through things. They’ll help him by making a list of the things that he will need in his new place, and then choosing which items will fulfill the list. They’ll also help him go through everything in the house, to make sure that no precious mementos are accidentally gotten rid of. The service will help him make sure that he is able to come to terms with what it means to leave the family home, and also make sure that the brings along all of the things that are meaningful to him in his life, so that he can always remember his past. They’ll help him make sure that the things he does not keep end up with good homes that he can feel happy about.

I have helped my clients discover hidden treasure in their clutter worth hundreds, even thousands of dollars!
Case Study 1: As we emptied out a number of drawers in my client’s kitchen I discovered a hidden drawer. My client didn’t even know it was there! It had over $10,000 cash.
Case Study 2: We were going through piles of papers in a client’s home office when we came across a health REFUND cheque. It was for over $2,000.
Case Study 3: As we sorted through the spare room, we discovered a Gift Card for $250 for a local retailer. It was due to expire in less than a month when we found it.
